Noel

Thanksgiving is over, so I can officially listen to Christmas music without anyone complaining...though I've been listening to the Nutcracker nonstop the past two weeks to pull me through school. ;)
Popping in real quick with two cards I made over this Thanksgiving break for the Hero Arts Holiday Challenge (I used my favorite Christmas stamp, and the Iron-Off technique Jennifer McGuire showed) and the Simon Says Anything Goes challenge.

These cards were so hard darn to photograph, with the acetate and all. My siblings really liked them though, which says something because they're usually my toughest critics. ;)

The sibs liked this second card better, but I prefer the first one myself, though this one certainly took more time.

I may or may not have strung these sequins when I was supposed to be studying for a bio test...

That's it for me - I'm gonna try to savor the last sweet hours of my break!

Thanks for stopping in and God bless!

Just Awesome

Popping in to share a card I made for two challenges; the WPlus9 Monday Mood board...

...and the Sketchbook Saturday challenge #109...

I love all the sentiments from THIS Hero Arts stamp set, but this one is a particular beaut...

The font, the sentiment itself - I know so many people that this card and sentiment would be perfect for (what can I say? Awesome people just tend to congregate around me ;))

That's all for me today! Thanks for stopping in and God bless!

Excited

...to be a part of the Paper Smooches SPARKS Design Team!!

Here's the card that I made for the call...

Using the Party Posse stamp set, I stamped and heat embossed the sheep, and framed her with an inked-and-heat-embossed wooden frame. My older sister, who is a big fan of sheep (mostly for their wool ;)) and pink, appreciated this card. ;)
If you really look at it, you can see a small strip of brown on the left side of the frame - when I was stamping the sentiment, I hadn't cleaned the extra ink off my block, so it got on the paper. Luckily, it doesn't show up too much, or I would've had to cut the second sheet of this pretty patterned paper from Dear Lizzy.

Thanks for stopping in and God bless!

thankful wreath

I'm supposed to be writing my last two papers of the semester (can I get a HOORAH?!), but obviously, I thought it'd be way more fun to hang out here instead. ;)

Here's a card for Simon Says Stamp Thanks challenge, Sweet Stamps Thank You challenge and Tuesday Throwdown Gratitude challenge.

A bit of ink, a scrap of felt, and a patter of gems was all this card needed.

I need to get back to those papers {sigh}, so thanks for stopping in and God bless!
